Advanced Manufacturing Office - DOE’s  Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) partners with industry, small business, universities, and other stakeholders to identify and invest in emerging technologies with the potential to create high-quality domestic manufacturing jobs and enhance the global competitiveness of the United States.

Industrial Assessment Centers - Small- and medium-sized manufacturers may be eligible to receive a no-cost assessment provided by DOE Industrial Assessment Centers (IACs). Teams located at 24 universities around the country conduct the energy audits to identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and save energy. IACs typically identify more than $130,000 in potential annual savings opportunities for every manufacturer assessed, nearly $50,000 of which is implemented during the first year following the assessment.

DOE Better Buildings Solutions - The Better Buildings program is designed to drive energy innovation.  The program offers online tools including implementation models, case studies, financing information and educational information. 

EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership - The SmartWay Transport Partnership is an innovative collaboration between EPA and the freight industry to increase energy efficiency while significantly reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution. The website describes technologies and approaches for fuel savings and emissions reductions in the freight sector.
