  • EPA's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program - Through the SBIR Program, EPA makes awards to small, high-tech firms for research and development of cutting-edge technologies. The Program is intended to spawn commercial ventures that improve our environment and quality of life, create jobs, increase productivity and economic growth, and improve the international competitiveness of the U.S. Technology industry.
  • Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) - The CIT operates a number of programs and services supporting development and expansion of technology-based businesses in Virginia.  Among its services are support for accessing capital, federal funding, and other financial resources as well as business and technical assistance for research, development, technology transfer, and procurement contracting.
