2004 Assessment Database GIS Application
The Assessment Database (ADB) is a relational database application provided by EPA for tracking water quality assessment data, including use attainment, and causes and sources of impairment. The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) uses ADB to store its 305(b) Water Quality Assessment Information. In an effort to make this information more accessible to the public, DEQ has developed an internet based GIS application which allows users to zoom to an area of interest and retrieve assessment information for specific waters.
This application currently uses data from the 2004 305(b)/303(d) Water Quality Assessment Integrated Report which was finalized in October 2005. DEQ is currently working on the draft 2006 305(b)/303(d) Water Quality Assessment Integrated Report with an expected release in late spring 2006. Once the draft report is released the data used to produce this report will be included in this application
