Waste regulations - Chapter 90

In its 2004 session, the General Assembly authorized the collection of annual fees from solid waste management facilities (SWMFs). 2004 Acts cc 249, 324. The Virginia Waste Management Board has approved final regulations assessing annual fees, 9 VAC 20-90, which became effective July 1, 2004. The regulations call for the payment of solid waste annual fees no later than October 1st of each year for activities in the preceding calendar year (CY), with certain exceptions.
