You might be interested to know that ... The General VPDES Permit for Discharges from Petroleum Contaminated Sites (9 VAC 25-120-10 et seq.) expires on February 24, 2003. In order to develop a new permit regulation, the DEQ Director has approved a Technical Advisory Committee for the review and re-issuance of this permit regulation. The Technical Advisory Committee includes a member of the regulated community, an environmental consultant, a private citizen, and a local government official. Notice of Technical Advisory Committee meetings will be placed in the Virginia Register in accordance with the requirements of the Virginia Administrative Process Act.
