The Southwest Regional Office serves the counties of Bland, Buchanan, Carroll, Dickenson, Grayson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe; and the cities of Bristol, Galax and Norton.

Directions to the DEQ Southwest Regional Office
From Interstate 81 South: Take exit 19 and turn right on Route 11, which becomes Main Street. Go 1.2 miles and turn left on Deadmore Street. (Start looking for Deadmore Street after you pass Farris Funeral Home on the right and the Virginia Lottery office on the left.) After turning onto Deadmore Street, go 0.2 miles (crossing railroad tracks). The DEQ office is a white building on the right side of the road.
From I-81 North: Take exit 17 and turn left on Cummings Street. After about 1 mile and at the third traffic light, turn right on Main Street. Go 0.7 miles and turn right on Deadmore Street. (Start looking for Deadmore Street after you pass Frost Funeral Home on the right.) After turning onto Deadmore Street, go 0.2 miles (crossing railroad tracks). The DEQ office is a white building on the right side of the road.
