Division of Water Quality Active Permit Applications

Below are links to lists of active permit applications received by DEQ under the Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES), Virginia Pollution Abatement (VPA), and Virginia Water Protection (VWP) permit programs.  General information about each permit program may be found at these web pages.

Each list is in both the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format (.xls xls icon), and the Portable Document Format (.pdf pdf icon) which may be viewed with the free Adobe Acrobat software available for download from Adobe's web page.

(Last update: May 1, 2008)

The lists will be updated once per month.  Public notices concerning a pending permit action may be required by a particular permit program, and when applicable, the notices may be viewed on the following DEQ web pages: VPDES Public Notices, VPA Public Notices, or VWP Public Notices.

These applications and authorizations are being processed in accordance with each program's established procedures.  There is no guarantee that a listed project will receive a permit or permit authorization.

The data provided may not be complete due to data entry errors or database query issues.

For more information pertaining to a specific permit application, please contact the relevant program at the DEQ office that has purview over the project location.  Please note that the Kilmarnock field office (KSO) is not longer open; contact the Piedmont Regional Office instead.  Information on DEQ's offices and a map of each office's territory can be viewed at http://www.deq.virginia.gov/regions/homepage.html.
