Claytor Lake State Park includes a 4,500-acre, 21 mile long lake in the New River Valley of southwestern Virginia. Claytor Lake offers a wide variety of activities including hiking trails, swimming, camping, cabins, a visitor center and a new marina complex. The new Water’s Edge Marina Meeting Facility can be reserved for weddings and other events. Claytor Lake State Park is committed to environmental excellence and works to minimize environmental impacts whenever possible.
