Westmoreland State Park is located along the Potomac River in Westmoreland County and was one of the six original state parks opened in 1936. The park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and offers hiking, camping, cabins, fishing, boating, swimming in an Olympic sized swimming pool in season, a visitor’s center, and conference center. The conference center is a historic 1936 CCC facility with a main meeting room with a capacity of 65-138, a glassed in porch, deck, service kitchen, and an executive board room that seats 26.
