What's New
Virginia Beach declared a Green Destination! On July 17th, the Virginia Beach Green Team announced that it had met its goal to provide visitors to Virginia Beach with a wide array of green alternatives. Virginia Beach now offers 20 restaurants, 16 hotels, 4 attractions, 5 events, and the VB Convention Center that are certified Virginia Green participants. The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau is highlighting these participants and other green activities on its new website. Way to go Virginia Beach Green Team! Town of Onancock goes Virginia Green! Can you believe it?! If you are looking to stay at one of the inns / B&B’s in Onancock, you only have green choices -- all six lodging facilities have joined the Virginia Green program! In addition, 2 of the towns restaurants have gone green and an “eco-operator” in town as well! All of these participants were recognized in a ceremony at the Inn & Garden Café’ on April 10th.
