Convention Centers are often the centerpiece of a region’s tourism efforts, and they have the opportunity to lead the way for Virginia Green activities in their region.

What Does It Take to be a VirginiaGreenconvention center?

At a minimum, facilities must commit to:

• Provide Recycling
• Eliminate use of Styrofoam & Reduce Disposables
• Water Efficiency
• Energy Conservation
• Support Green Conferences & Events

Participating convention centers:

• Virginia Beach Convention Center
