Charter Members Recognized at Ceremonial Signing Event!
On September 16, 2004, VH2E honored its 72 Charter Member Facilities at a ceremony at Bon Secours St. Mary's in Richmond. Secretary of Natural Resources Tayloe Murphy and Secretary of Health & Human Services Jane Woods jointly presided over the event. Speakers included Mick Kulik of the US EPA, Laurens Sartoris of the Virginia Hospitals & Healthcare Association, Peter Bernard of Bon Secours Richmond, Cecelia DeLoach of the national Hospitals for a Healthy Environment program, and Rick Weeks of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
