ENERGY STAR is a voluntary U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) partnership program that promotes comrehensive energy management as a way for companies to increase profits and competitiveness, while at the same time protecting the environment.Reduced overhead costs, higher customer satisfaction, and an ability to better negotiate energy deals are all part of the value of improved energy performance. Thousands of organizations across the nation are utilizing the support and resources offered by ENERGY STAR to improve their bottom line and establish themselves as industry leaders and good corporate citizens.
ENERGY STAR Buildings Program

EPAs ENERGY STAR Buildings Program is a voluntary energy efficiency program for U.S. commercial and industrial buildings. Expanding on the successful ENERGY STAR program, ENERGY STAR Buildings focuses on the profitable investment opportunitites available in most buildings, using proven technologies. The program is a 5-staged implementation strategy that takes advantage of system interactions and enables building owners to achieve additional energy savings while lowering capital expenditures.
