Waste Reduction Resource Center
The Waste Reduction Resource Center (WRRC) provides technical P2 support to the states in EPA Region III and EPA Region IV. You'll find a searchable index of over 20,000 technical articles, fact sheets, and case studies about waste reduction technologies for specific industries.
EPA Region 3 Waste Minimization Program
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III Waste Minimization Program is a voluntary national effort to reduce the quantity and toxicity of hazardous waste, emphasizing the most persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic chemicals.
EPA Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics
EPA/OPPT's site includes notices of P2 and environmental justice grant availability as well as information on environmental preferable products, voluntary partnerships in preventing pollution, and OPPT publications. There is also access to EPA Pollution Prevention Information Clearinghouse.
EPA Compliance Assistance Centers
EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, in partnership with industry, academic institutions, environmental groups and other federal an state agencies, has established "virtual" national Compliance Assistance Centers for specific industry sectors heavily populated with small businesses and entities that face substantial federal regulations.

The Centers deliver information in many forms: Internet Web sites, telephone assistance lines, fax-back systems, and e-mail discussion groups. Let the Centers help you understand your environmental requirements -- and show you how to save money by preventing pollution in the first place.
Wastewise
The WasteWise program targets the reduction of municipal solid waste; waste that would otherwise end up in an organization's (or its customers') trash dumpster, such as corrugated containers, office paper, yard trimmings, packaging, and wood pallets. Participants, ranging from small local governments and nonprofit organizations to large, multi-national corporations, sign on to the program for a 3-year period.
EPIC
US Department of Energy's P2 Information Clearinghouse includes: facility pollution prevention opportunity assessments, DOE guidance policy, project summaries, newsletters, contacts, and Internet resource listings.
National Pollution Prevention Roundtable
NPPR's network of state, local and federal government agencies highlights some of the most current policy and technical issues related to P2 in the US. NPPR provides a national forum for promoting the development, implementation, and evaluation of efforts to avoid, eliminate or reduce pollution at its source of generation.

Waste Minimization National Plan
This plan, developed by EPA with representatives from numerous stakeholder organizations, focuses on reducing the generation and subsequent release to the environment of persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic chemicals in hazardous wastes.
Pacific Northwest Pollution Prevention Research Center
This non-profit organization supports research and projects that result in pollution prevention and toxics use elimination/reduction. This important resource contains a significant P2 Research Projects Database and RFP Clearinghouse for P2 projects as well as numerous P2 publications.
P2 GEMS
This is an Internet search tool for facility planners, engineers, and managers who are looking for technical, process, and material management information related to pollution prevention. You can search by keyword or by category: product or industry, chemical or waste, management tools, or process.

Search about specific eco-labels, products that carry eco-labels, who and what is behind the label, and labels coming soon.
The Center for Clean Products and Clean Technologies
The CCPCT focuses on the earliest stages of pollution prevention: the design of products and the processes by which they are made. This new approach involves the redesign of products and processes with the environment in mind, avoiding the need to install expensive pollution-control systems or to create unwanted waste management facilities.

INFORM: Strategies for a Better Environment
This handbook explains how businesses (as well as government agencies) can reduce waste while bringing down their disposal, purchasing, and operational costs. It provides specific strategies on preventing waste in the work areas that make up the typical business-- offices; food services; shipping and receiving; janitorial services; and building, landscape, and vehicle maintenance.
ExCeS: The Exchange Center of Southwest Virginia (ExCeS)
An online materials exchange designed to facilitate the beneficial re-use of materials in Southwest Virginia. ExCeS is a free service, operated by Radford University's Business Assistance Center (BAC) and sponsored by the Virginia Environmental Endowment.
