New laboratory certification requirement, effective January 1, 2012

As of January 1, 2012, all data submitted to DEQ under the air, waste, and water quality laws 10.1-1300 et seq., 10.1-1400 et seq, and 62.1-44.2 et seq. of the Code of Virginia must come from a certified environmental laboratory.
