Vehicle Emissions Inspector & Certified Emissions Repair Technician Training

Emissions Inspectors are required to certify every three (3) years by attending Northern Virginia Community College's (NVCC) AUT-225 offered at the Alexandria and Manassas Campuses. 

Certified Emissions Repair Technicians are required to certify every (3) years by either successfully completing the Certified Emissions Repair Technician course (AUT-226) offered at NVCC's Alexandria and Manassas Campuses or by possessing a valid Advanced Engine Performance Specialist (L1) from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence.

NVCC Emissions Inspector Class Results

The following Student ID Numbers have passed the final exam on the date noted at each campus below. The Student ID Number is the number you are assigned by the Northern Virginia Community College when you enroll. This number can be found on your receipt when you registered for the Inspector class.

  3. New job listings will be posted by close of business on the first and third Monday of each month.
  4. Listings will automatically expire and be removed after four weeks.
