DEQ is announcing an informal public comment period on EPA's Clean Power Plan. Prior to taking any formal action, DEQ is seeking general input from the public on the best way to implement EPA's emission guidelines for existing power plants. EPA GHG, new dates and federal plan

EPA has announced that it will finalize its Clean Power proposals by mid-summer 2015. In addition, the agency will be starting the regulatory process to develop a proposed federal plan. See EPA's fact sheet ( for more information.
