EPA GHG, new federal regulations

EPA has published the final emissions guidelines (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-10-23/pdf/2015-22842.pdf) and new source performance standards (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-10-23/pdf/2015-22837.pdf), and a proposed federal plan (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2015-10-23/pdf/2015-22848.pdf) for the Clean Power Plan in the October 23, 2015 Federal Register.

VA Clean Power Plan, Portsmouth Listening Session

Please be aware that the informal listening session that DEQ is hosting in Portsmouth on October 6 is only for receiving input from the public, and there will be no formal presentations from DEQ. DEQ staff will be present at the location from 5:00-8:00 pm to allow for members of the public to arrive earlier or later as their schedules allow. In addition, written comments may be provided to the agency by e-mail to ghg@deq.virginia.gov, by a fax (804-698-4510), or by postal mail to the Air Division, Department of Environmental Quality, PO Box 1105, Richmond VA 23218 until October 13, 2015.
