Effective March 26, 2008 the DEQ Operator Training Program, wastewater treatment operator training manuals pricelist has been updated. The price increases were balanced to cover the increase in printing costs while still providing relatively low cost documents on specific wastewater treatment topics.

There is a 2-day "Basic Lab Skills for Wastewater Operators" workshop scheduled for April 1-2, 2008 at the DEQ Southwest Regional Office in Abington, Virginia. The cost of the workshop is $100 payable in advance by check or money order to the Department of Environmental Quality.

There is a 3-day "Activated Sludge Process Control Part II" workshop scheduled for April 22-24, 2008 at the Spotsylvania County Massaponax WWTP in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The cost of the workshop is $150 payable in advance by check or money order to the Department of Environmental Quality.
