The Licensure Review classes being offered at Wythville Community College on January 19 - 22, 2009 have been cancelled due to the observance of a federal holiday. DEQ, Operator Training Solids Testing Workshops November 2008
The DEQ, Operator Training Program has scheduled "Solids Testing Workshops" at the following locations:
Piedmont Region (Glen Allen office)
Thursday, November 13 (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Blue Ridge Region (Roanoke office)
Wednesday, November 19 (8:30am - 4:30 pm)
Description: This workshop provides the knowledge and skills required to perform total suspended solids sampling and testing and includes hands on training. It will also include a discussion of sampling and testing procedures for other solids analyses such as volatile solids, settleable solids, and, as time permits, determination of % solids and % volatile matter.
If you perform or supervise the performance of wastewater solids testing you will find this program beneficial.
The Virginia Board for Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operators and Onsite Sewage System Professionals has approved this workshop for 0.5 training credits.
