Important daily air quality forecast information

As of October 1, 2007 and until May 2008, the daily Virginia Department of Environmental Quality air quality forecasts will include particle pollution forecasts for Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Roanoke only. Ozone forecasts for those locations and Winchester will be suspended during that period as the ozone season winds to an end with the shorter days and cooler temperatures of fall and winter approaching. Ozone forecasts will be added back to the daily air quality forecasts next May. Winchester forecasts will also resume at that time.

If you want to suspend receipt of the air quality forecasts during the fall and winter, please go to http://www.deq.virginia.gov/lists/ and log in to manage your subscription(s). We can not access your account to change your subscription(s) as we do not have your account password. Please do not forget to re-subscribe in May to resume receiving the ozone forecasts issued at that time.
