- Highlights coastal resource management issues and activities in the Commonwealth
- Distributed to local elected and appointed officials, state agencies, non-governmental organizations, federal CZM partners, other US state CZM programs and the general public.
- Coastal Needs Assessment and Strategy Report for Virginia
- This report outlines the high priority coastal resource and issue areas on which the Virginia CZM Program will focus its attention, efforts and Section 309 funds over a 5-year period (federal match-free funding). Current projects cover the 2006-2010 period.
- Evaluation Findings for the Virginia CZM Program, November 1999 through July 2003
- The NOAA Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management conducted routine 3-year evaluation of the Virginia CZM Program in August 2003. Draft findings for a more recent May 2006 evaluation will soon be available on-line.
- The evaluation includes opportunity for public comment and feedback in the activities and management of the program.
- Virginia CZM Program Funding Fact Sheet
- An overview of funding received and where it has been spent. This fact sheet was designed specifically for Congress to highlight the accomplishments of CZM funding and gain support for continuous and increased funding.
