Northampton County Special Area Management Plan: Program Coordination and Economic Strategy Implementation
Project Description as Proposed:
In 1992, the Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) was initiated for Northampton County. The dual and integrated goals of the SAMP are to sustain economic development based on the County's natural, cultural and historic resources and to formulate enforceable policies to protect these resources for the long term. The FY'97 funding will provide for completion of policies, development and coordination of specific projects demonstrating successful implementation of the SAMP policies/objectives.
