Wetlands Engineer

Project Description as Proposed:

The purpose of this project is to continue to provide direct technical expertise and assistance to the three counties and the town in the areas of compliance with the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act, State and Federal wetland laws, State Erosion and Sediment Control Law, stormwater management and site plan reviews. The position is designed to directly enforce local, state and federal regulations in these areas thereby improving thoroughness and consistency of plan review and enforcement of applicable regulations. Expertise will also be available to assist with review of land use ordinances and related projects as needed.
