Project Title:
Distribution and Abundance of SAV in Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries, and Delmarva Coastal Bays -- 1997
Project Description as Proposed:
Map the distribution and abundance of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) in the Chesapeake Bay and tributaries and Chincoteague Bay in 1997 and relate current abundance with past distributional data. Relate current and past SAV distribution to Tier I restoration target and Tier II and III goals. Provide vehicle to disseminate SAV data in ARC-INFO to all user groups and via alternate electronic media (e.g. the World Wide Web).
