Eight-hour ozone exceedences (2009)
Dates and locations in Virginia where air quality monitors recorded ozone concentrations greater than 75 parts per billion, the health-based air quality standard measured over eight hours. The standard was changed in 2008 and the information in this chart reflects number of exceedances under the new standard. The "ND" indicates that no monitor was present.
Numbers indicate ozone concentration in parts per billion. All information is unofficial until quality-assured by the DEQ Office of Air Monitoring.
