The Office of Air Regulatory Development is responsible for the development, preparation, and submittal of air quality programs, regulations, and plans.
Air quality programs are developed to carry out the provisions of the Air Pollution Control Law of Virginia, and to carry out the Commonwealth's responsibilities under the federal Clean Air Act and the regulations that implement the Act.
