Emissions
The Office of Air Data Analysis is responsible for coordination and management of the air pollutant emissions inventory program throughout the Commonwealth, and provides coordination and technical assistance on the use of the air program portion of the Comprehensive Environmental Data System or CEDS. The office also performs urban and regional modeling analyses to evaluate air quality issues such as ozone, particulate matter, and haze.
Other activities performed by the office include the coordination of air quality and transportation planning activities (conformity), Title V emissions and fees, technical analysis and support for the air quality planning process, ozone episode alerts and forecasts, and environmental review of projects regarding potential air quality impacts.
