Air Compliance
The air compliance programs main objective is to ensure that the regulated facilities are complying with applicable regulatory requirements. The real compliance work is done in the regions by the air inspectors who conduct site evaluations, observe source emissions testing, and review source reports for compliance. The central office of air compliance coordination is responsible for assisting the regional offices in their compliance activities as well as managing the federal air grant, providing training opportunities to staff, policy development, and program assessment.
