Any equipment that is tested and in working condition will be remarketed or donated to non-profit organizations, schools, churches, etc. By default we perform data and asset tag removal on all recycling shipments received in our facility. Should the individuals need more data security we can perform hard drive destruction for a very low cost. A Certificate of Destruction and the serial number log will be issued upon request. Accepts most electronic and computer equipment free of charge as long as the shippert covers any freight costs. Can also purchase large quantities of computer equipment that still holds market value. Dedicated to the preservation of a clean, safe environment. EPA regulations are followed in the recycling and disposal of all electronic components.
Process: Monitors, systems, printers, etc are disassemblrf and sorted by material (plastic, glass, heavy metals, precious metals). Glass is sent for lead extraction, precious metals are sent to refiners for final precious metal extraction. The remaining metals are sent to metal smelters for the final smelting of metal back into a raw material.

Specs: All equipment must be palletized before shipment. Kibria group prefers large quantities, but has no requirement on quantities as long as the material is palletized. They will arrange for the shipment of the materials, however, shipping costs are covered by the customer.

Provides turnkey transportation services for quick and efficient removal of equipment from client facilities. Ensures that all client data and software are removed from electronic media.
Specs: Equipment is inspected and thoroughly tested to capture product specifications and guage remarketable condition. Provides disposal and recycling for equipment that fails testing or does not meet minimum specifications. Failed equipment is disposed of or recycled in an environmentally-friendly manner in accordance with US Environmental Protection Agency guidelines.

Process: Processes and recycles mercury containing light bulbs. Also handles Lighting Ballast, all types of batteries as well as all computer items and most any other types of electronics. All items are 100% recycled.

Specs: Offers a complete recycling service of all types of electronics utilizing Tornrc's Complete process. This process consists of the complete disassembling, recycling and recovery of all electronics. SRT provides transportation via their trucks or transportation can be arranged via a common carrier. They can also provide proper shipping containers if needed at a minimal costs. SRT provides all proper shipping documents and certificates of recycling for all items recycled and handled.

Process: Pick up and receive old computers and electronics from the general public, businesses, and schools. Most of the equipment is dismantled, sorted and sold as scrap to refineries, mills and scrap metal processors. Approximately 15% of the remaining equipment is reused in other computers for either resale or repair purposes.

Process:  The Center for Computer Redistribution has been picking up, refurbishing and givng away free PCs and Macs in the Richmond, VA area.

We do accept all electronics related to computers from the general public.  Our older machines usually go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill or other charities to be sold at auction, and our scrap goes to the metal recyclers.

I usually pickup donations personally. 

Process: Private not-for-profit company that employs people with disabilities. Accepts all computer equipment and peripherals. Will test equipment to determine whether it can be refurbished. If not refurbishable, will recycle equipment in accordance with all local, state, and federal guidelines. No material is landfilled.

Specs: Accepts all donated types and conditions of computer hardware, cables, mouse and other accessories. Recycle all parts through a partnership with Computer Donation Management.

Charge: $15.00 per monitor. All other material collected free of charge. Contributions are tax deductible. Residents may drop material off at the warehouse - M-F 8:30 - 4:30. Pick up service available for large corporate accounts.
